Driver Arrested Following Police Chase Through Two Wiregrass Counties

DOTHAN, Ala. – A man was arrested Friday night following a police chase that spanned across two Wiregrass counties. Authorities say the pursuit began in Henry County when Headland police attempted to stop a truck. The driver of the truck, however, continued fleeing into Houston County and ultimately reached Dothan.

As the chase entered Dothan city limits, multiple law enforcement agencies joined the pursuit to assist. Officers strategically positioned themselves ahead of the truck and successfully brought the chase to a halt in the 3700 block of Ross Clark Circle.

The driver was promptly taken into custody without further incident. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the individual involved or details about the charges they may face. The incident remains under investigation.
