Enterprise, Ala. — An Enterprise couple was arrested on multiple charges, including drug trafficking, possession of controlled substances, and chemical endangerment of a child, following a search warrant execution by the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office on February 4.
Brandon Paul Frederick, 37, and his wife, Stephanie Marie Frederick, 40, were taken into custody after authorities uncovered a range of illegal substances at their home in the 2000 block of County Road 723.
According to the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), the raid led to the seizure of several drugs, including ketamine, marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms, Xanax, kratom, THC extract, edibles, and vapes, along with U.S. currency. Both suspects now face nine counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of drug trafficking, and one count of chemical endangerment of a child.
The chemical endangerment charge stems from concerns that the couple’s drug-related activities may have put their child in danger. This charge can carry severe penalties, as it involves situations where children are exposed to harmful substances or unsafe environments due to illegal drug use.
Both Brandon and Stephanie Frederick have been taken to the Coffee County Jail, where they are being held with bond pending. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to review evidence and build their case.
The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office has emphasized the seriousness of the arrest, underscoring their commitment to safeguarding the community and protecting vulnerable individuals, especially children, from the dangers of drug-related crimes.
