HOUSTON COUNTY, Ala. – Authorities in Houston County confirmed that Michael Preston Gamble, a man with autism, was safely located on Sunday afternoon after going missing earlier in the week.
Gamble, who was reported missing by the Houston County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, February 13, had last been seen the day before. Local deputies were immediately dispatched to search for the 26-year-old, who is known to have severe ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome.
The Houston County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) worked tirelessly to locate Gamble, and after several days of searching, they were able to confirm his safe return on Sunday. Details regarding his location at the time of discovery have not been released.
