The crash occurred at approximately 6:35 p.m. on Cottonhill Road, near the intersection of Nolan Road. Despite efforts to provide medical attention, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. No further details have been released at this time.

The incident serves as a tragic reminder of the importance of seatbelt use, as seatbelts are known to reduce the severity of injuries in accidents.
