Three Houston County Residents Arrested in Fentanyl Trafficking Raid

DOTHAN, Ala. — Three Houston County residents were arrested Friday following a drug raid that stemmed from a traffic stop, officials said.

The Houston County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) reported that deputies and investigators initiated the search after a traffic stop led them to a residence located in the 1000 block of South Brannon Stand Road in Dothan.

During the search, authorities arrested 55-year-old David Bolick, 42-year-old Ashley Worth, and 30-year-old Andrew Thomley. All three individuals face charges of trafficking fentanyl.

Bolick and Worth were booked into the Houston County Jail with bonds set at $1.5 million each, while Thomley was held on a $150,000 bond.

The operation was carried out jointly by the Houston County Sheriff’s Office and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s State Bureau of Investigation (ALEA SBI) Region B Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force.

Officials did not release additional details regarding the quantity of fentanyl involved or the ongoing investigation.
