Dothan, AL – The Dothan Police Department recently visited Ridgecrest Christian Academy to speak with kindergarten students about what it means to serve and be a leader in the community.
According to the department, one of its officers spoke with the kindergarten classes last week, sharing information about the role of police officers and the importance of serving others and demonstrating leadership in the community.
The visit was welcomed by both the school and the department, which thanked Ridgecrest Christian Academy for inviting its officers to spend time with the students.
Dothan Police said its officers enjoy opportunities to interact with local students and members of the community outside of their regular law enforcement duties.
The department also expressed its appreciation for the invitation, saying it loved spending time with the kindergarten classes.
