Dothan, AL – A 36-year-old man died after being ejected from his vehicle during a rollover crash on Ross Clark Circle in Dothan, Alabama, early October 15.
The Dothan Police Department said officers responded shortly before 2 a.m. to a crash in the 2700 block of Ross Clark Circle.
The driver, identified as Charlie Lee Wright Jr., was found just off the roadway and pronounced dead at the scene.
The department’s Crash Team is investigating the incident. Preliminary findings indicate Wright’s vehicle briefly left the road before the driver lost control. The vehicle then overturned, ejecting Wright.
Police believe speed may have contributed to the crash. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
