Dothan, AL – Dothan Utilities will conduct water line maintenance work in the 100 block of N. Englewood Avenue on Tuesday, June 2, resulting in a temporary road closure in the area.
According to the City of Dothan Government, the maintenance will take place at the intersection of W. Main Street and N. Englewood Avenue.
To accommodate the work, N. Englewood Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Kent Drive and W. Main Street.
The closure is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. and is expected to remain in place until approximately 10 p.m.
City officials are urging motorists to use caution when traveling near the work zone and to remain alert for utility crews working in the roadway.
Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time while the maintenance work is underway.
