DOTHAN, Ala. — A reported shooting outside the Dothan AMC 12 on Monday night prompted a significant police response, though no injuries have been confirmed.
According to Rickey Stokes News, several shell casings were discovered in the theater’s parking lot following the incident. Witnesses at the scene informed local news outlet WDHN that officers conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area, including the roof of a nearby building.
Authorities were able to quickly identify a suspect connected to the shooting and took the individual into custody. Officials have not yet released details regarding the motive or any potential charges.
