DOTHAN, Ala. — A semi-truck trailer flipped onto its side Thursday afternoon on Ross Clark Circle, causing disruptions in traffic and emergency response teams to rush to the scene.
The accident occurred shortly before 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Ross Clark Circle and South Oates Street. A photo from the scene shows the back trailer of a tandem semi-truck lying on its side, blocking part of the busy roadway. Emergency personnel from the Dothan Police Department and the Dothan Fire Department quickly arrived, and a wrecker was called to assist in clearing the wreckage.
At this time, the cause of the crash is unknown, and authorities have not confirmed whether there were any injuries involved. The incident has drawn attention from local commuters, as the area is a well-traveled route for both local and regional traffic.
