DOTHAN, Ala. — Dothan Utilities has announced a planned water service disruption for several streets in the city on Thursday evening. The work is part of ongoing repairs to the water system at the intersection of West Main Street and Oates Street.
Beginning at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 6, crews will begin making repairs, with the water shut-off scheduled to last until 7:00 a.m. Friday, February 7. During this time, residents and businesses in the following areas will experience a temporary water outage:
- 100 Block of South Oates Street
- 100-400 Blocks of West Main Street
- 100 Block of West Crawford Street
- 100-200 Blocks of North Oates Street
Dothan Utilities has advised customers in these areas to prepare for the service disruption, which is expected to affect water pressure and availability. The repair work is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the city’s water infrastructure.
